Our Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect and use the personal information you decide to share, and help you make informed decisions around that data.

By using or accessing HerPantyClub.com (referred to below as SITE), you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

SITE is built using the GoDaddy foundation and hence has all the GoDaddy security features automatically built in.  GoDaddy is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to build user's trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. Because this Web site wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices and have its privacy practices reviewed for compliance by TRUSTe.

EU Safe Harbor Participation
Technology Platform, GoDaddy.com participates in the EU Safe Harbor Privacy Framework as set forth by the United States Department of Commerce. We will respond to your request for access to modify or information within 30 days. We will not give any information about you to others without your express permission.

The Information We Collect
When you visit the SITE you provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected by us and Web Site use information collected by us as you interact with our Web Site.

When you register with us, you provide us with certain personal information, such as your name, your email address, your telephone number, your address,  size, etc.

When you enter SITE, we collect your browser type and IP address. This information is gathered for all visitors. In addition, we store certain information from your browser using "cookies." A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. By default, we use a persistent cookie that stores your login ID (but not your password) to make it easier for you to login when you come back. You can remove or block this cookie using the settings in your browser if you want to disable this convenience feature.

User Generated Content
We utilize the FACEBOOK platform for community aspects of the site and you are subject to all FACEBOOK terms and conditions/privacy policies when you are on the FACEBOOK interface.  When users submit content via the FACEBOOK interface or send us content directly, we retain the right to use content that was submitted for marketing purposes. 

Tell a friend
If you choose to use our invitation service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for information needed to send the invitation, such as your friend's email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email or instant message inviting him or her to visit the site. We store this information to send a one-time invitation and to track the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us to request that we remove this information from our database.

Under The Age of 18
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 18, please do not attempt to register for our service or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. No one under age 18 may provide any personal information. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under the age 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a minor under 18, please contact us immediately.


Use of Information
When you register, you create a profile. Your profile information, as well as your name, email and photo, is kept within the GoDaddy System.  We do not have access to credit card information.  All is securely handled through the GoDaddy interface.  Shipping information is transferred from GoDaddy system so that we can make mailing labels to ensure product delivery.  Statistical information around clickthru rates, conversion is used in aggregate to help us make better marketing and product decisions.  Email addresses and phone numbers are used primarily to respond to customer service inquiries but may also be used for marketing purposes.  We will not contact you for marketing purposes if you email us to let us know that you do not want to be part of these programs.  User generated content may be re-published on site or in print and used for marketing, contests, promotional, event or other activities.  We may also use your contact information to notify you of new service offerings and/or changes to policies.  

We may use information in your profile without identifying you as an individual to third parties. We do this for purposes such as aggregating how many people of our users wear certain size so that we can negotiate better deals in your behalf.  We may also use this information to keep you abreast of news and information that may be relevant to you because we know that piece of information.  Example.  We know you wear size small and we’ve just received 50% discount on similar item, we’d share that benefit with you.

Only If We Have To
As stated previously in this policy, we will not share your personal information except with a third party to assist us in the processing or securing of your personal information, or to complete fulfillment or when we are required by law unless we have given you notice and choice, in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law, or we must comply with a legal process served on our web site. We will share your information in order to comply with ICANN's rules, regulations and policies. We may also need to give out your information if one of our partners requires it, but these situations are rare.  Note:  if you’re interacting with the service on facebook their policies apply.

Service Provider
GoDaddy uses a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level – you must be 18 or above to enter). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Site may contain links to other websites. We are of course not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by our site.

Third Party Advertising

Advertisements that appear on Site are sometimes delivered (or "served") directly to users by third party advertisers. They automatically receive your IP address when this happens. These third party advertisers may also download cookies to your computer, or use other technologies such as JavaScript and "web beacons" (also known as "1x1 gifs") to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. This privacy policy covers the use of cookies by facebook and does not cover the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by any of its advertisers.

Changing or Removing Information
Access and control over most personal information on SITE is readily available through account management editing tools. Users may modify or delete any of their profile information at any time by logging into their account. Information will be updated immediately. Individuals who wish to deactivate account may do so on the My Account page. Removed information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but will not be generally available.

Security
SITE takes appropriate precautions to protect our users' information. Your account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall as part of the broader GoDaddy service. Terms of Use, Notices and Revisions
Your use of SITE, and any disputes arising from it, is subject to this Privacy Policy as well as our Terms of Use and all of its dispute resolution provisions including arbitration, limitation on damages and choice of law. We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. What Happens to my Personal Information if I Terminate Account?

When Your Go Daddy account is cancelled (either voluntarily or involuntarily) all of your personally identifiable information is placed in "deactivated" status on our relevant Go Daddy databases. However, you should know that deactivation of your account does not mean your personally identifiable information has been deleted from our database entirely. We will retain and use your personally identifiable information if necessary in order to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
